+++Übergang vom Stadtraum zum nahen Waldrand. 14 Musiker stehen im Inneren eines Waldgebietes [hier: Ludwigshöhe/Darmstadt].+++ +++Crossing of the town space to the close edge of the forest. 14 musicians stand inside of a woodland [here: Ludwig's height / Darmstadt].+++Sie spielen unverstärkt ihre Blas-, Saiten-, Percussionsinstrumente und Stimmen.

They play not amplified their wind-, strings-, percussion instruments and voices. They perform in the thicket not visible obviously from the running around way.
The visitor walks, strolls on the edge of the forest way round the playing musicians.

*Realisation of the SoundPlastic*
Basically the performance is synchronised about stop watch functions of the mobile phones. Applications and lasting are directed on mobile phone / Skype. Participation condition for musician is the possession of a Smartphones.

On mobile phones every musician can be called during the performance and perhaps to change instructions with regard to play place, play instruction and any correction.

Since 2007 I deal with the hearing edge. The hearing edge marks an acoustic horizon. In parallel moreover the sound edge has become important.
Basically the SoundPlastic "Forest Edge" calls
)( a transitional area of the civilisation outskirts to the beginning woodland
)( a hearing direction in the forest inside, to a concealed and often inaccessible space, just as from the forest inside out in the town
)( a moment of transition between wooded and urbane formed environment.

The concept "Forest Edge" is understood here ambiguously and in an unsharpness which characterises transitional phenomena ambivalent.
